THE STARTING FIVE
A cornucopia of activity surrounds Oregon’s game with UCLA, Saturday at 1 p.m. at Matthew Knight Arena. To wit:
* A new bronze Duck statue will be unveiled at 11:30 a.m. outside the West Entrance.
* The refurbished 1939 NCAA Tall Firs Championship trophy will be on public display in the practice courts from 12 to 12:45 p.m.
* Otis Day (Animal House) will perform “Shout” at halftime.
1 - RPI wins. Oregon leads the nation with eight wins against teams currently in the RPI top 50. No one else has more than six (Villanova, Iowa).
