Bo Nix has grown up in a hurry. In just his second year in the NFL he's engineered eight fourth quarter comebacks, the latest coming on Sunday as he led the Broncos on two field goal drives in the last 4:10 to beat Patrick Mahomes and defending champion Kansas City Chiefs 22-19.
With 54 seconds to play the backyard whiz kid from Pinson, Alabama hit Duck teammate Troy Franklin with a 32-yard pass down to the 15 to set up Will Lutz's fifth field goal on the last snap of the game, good from 32 yards.
It was another touch of John Elway magic from Nix, who was booed by the Denver fans just a week ago, right before last week's comeback.
