It had been an exhilarating 11-game winning streak for Oregon Baseball as they roared to the Big Ten regular season title.
Unfortunately, they weren’t able to capitalize on doubling up by winning the Big Ten Tournament crown as well as they fell in the second game 7-3 to Nebraska.
Oregon fell behind early and struggled to mount much offense against Nebraska’s pitching. The Ducks also struggled defensively committing a season-high four errors, three coming in the first five innings with two leading to runs.
Nebraska scored two runs in the first and added an unearned run in the second inning to take a 3-0 lead before Oregon got on the board in the bottom of the second inning.
