The Big Ten Baseball tournament organizes the top 12 teams, based on regular season conference record, into four pools. Two days of competition have taken place already, so I have included the records of each team as of Thursday morning. Any team that wins their bracket with a 2-0 record advances to the semi-finals this weekend, whereas in the event of a three way tie of 1-1 records the top seed advances.
- Pool A: Oregon (0-0), Nebraska (1-0), Michigan State (0-1)
- Pool B: UCLA (1-0), Michigan (0-1), Illinois (1-1)
- Pool C: Iowa (1-0), Indiana (0-1), Rutgers (1-1)
- Pool D: USC (0-0), Washington (0-1), Penn State (1-0)
I’ve included a summary of the various rankings for each team in the tournament in the table below.
