CARMEL, Calif. – Owen Avrit shot a 6-under 66 in the second round and held a share of the individual lead heading to Tuesday's final round of the Cal Poly Invitational at The Prestige Golf Course.
No. 24 Oregon was tied for fourth with Washington at 9-under.
How It Happened: After a pedestrian 2-under 286 that left the Ducks in eighth after the morning's opening round, Avrit led the charge up the leaderboard in the afternoon.
Avrit had seven birdies and one bogey in his afternoon round. He posted a 2-under 70 in the morning and was at 8-under 136 for the two rounds.
