A&T falls in meet at Azusa Pacific

AZUSA, Calif. — Oregon scored a perfect 10 in the synchronized pyramid event but a big team event score led No. 4 Azusa Pacific to a 280.370 – 276.980 win over the second-ranked Ducks on Thursday night.

The Ducks (2-1) held a 2.65-point lead heading into the team event, but the Cougars (1-0) scored 100.22 out of a possible 107.89 to pull out the come-from-behind victory. Oregon countered with 94.18 points of a possible 104.28 in the team event.

How It Happened: Oregon built an early lead in the meet outscoring APU 38.
