For the second year in a row, the most prestigious individual awards bestowed annually by the University of Oregon athletics department honored players from the football and women's basketball teams.
Football student-athlete Hunter Kampmoyer has been named winner of the Emerald Athletic Award as the Ducks' top senior male student-athlete in 2020-21 based on leadership, scholarship, citizenship and athletic ability. Giomi was the recipient of the Jackson Athletic Award, given to the top senior female student-athlete based on the same criteria.
Kampmoyer and Giomi previously were award the Pac-12's Tom Hansen Medal as Oregon's outstanding seniors based on scholarship, athletics and leadership.
