He's the former Oregon quarterback, a four-year starter from Sheldon High School in Eugene, second all-time in career wins with 29, career passing yards, 10,541 and touchdowns, 95, all behind another fan favorite, Marcus Mariota. In 2019 he came back for his senior year and led the Ducks to a 12-2 record and a win in the Rose Bowl with three touchdowns rushing.
He won the Campbell Trophy for academic excellence, tutored in the biology lab in his time away from football.
