Four star defensive tackle Jayson Jones has committed to the Ducks this afternoon via Signing Day ceremony.
Jones is 6'6 350 defensive tackle recruit from Calera HS in the state of Alabama. Calera is a little over an hour away from Tuscaloosa (where Alabama is located) and less than two hours away from Auburn.
According to 247 Sports, Jones officially visited the Ducks on January 24, 2020.
Coach Cristobal used his in home visit earlier this month alongside special teams coach Bobby Williams and DL coach Joe Salave'a.
247Sports has him ranked as the 15th best prospect from Alabama, 32nd ranked defensive tackle, and the 318th overall recruit nationally.
