Instant Reaction: Oregon Pulls Away From Utah, Wins 51-27

Utah grabbed the early 7-0 lead, but Oregon responded with a strong 2nd quarter and took a 24-10 lead into halftime.

The Utes fought back in the 4th quarter and cut the Ducks' lead to three, but Oregon came back with 21 unanswered points to seal the win.

Turning Point: Utah wide receiver Kaelin Clay looked like he was going to stroll into the end zone for a 78-yard touchdown to put the Utes up 14-0 early in the second quarter, but the dropped the ball in celebration before crossing the goal line.

Oregon realized this, picked the ball up while Utah was celebrating, and ran it back 100 yards for a touchdown of their own. That tied the game 7-7, but gave the Ducks the momentum to reel off 24 straight points.

Key Stat: Oregon is now 32-0 when they score 30 points with Mariota as their quarterback. That's pretty darn impressive.

Oregon MVP: Marcus Mariota continues to show everyone why he's considered the best player in the country. He finished 17/29 passing for 239 yards and touchdown while also rushing for 114 yards and another score.

Utah MVP: Kaelin Clay had a huge impact on this game despite his mishap in the first half. He had five catches for 152 yards, as well as a couple of big kickoff returns.

What’s Next? The Ducks have a bye week before facing Colorado on November 22, while Utah will try and snap their two game losing streak next weekend against Stanford.
