3 Burning Questions For The Oregon Ducks Following Spring Football

There is plenty of reason for optimism after the Oregon Ducks' 2015 spring football session, but there's also plenty of questions to ponder as we sit just over four months away from the start of the college football season. Here's our list of 3 Burning Questions For The Oregon Ducks Following Spring Football.

1. Can Jeff Lockie Out-Compete Transfer Vernon Adams?

Once Vernon Adams completes his undergraduate degree from Eastern Washington in June, he'll be thrown directly into a quarterback battle with the experience Jeff Lockie. You have to think that the talented Adams will have the inside track, but don't count out Adams who has earned head coach Mark Helfrich's trust after three years of selfless, professional-like work in practice.

2. Is Royce Freeman Ready To Run Over The Pac-12?

The soon-to-be sophomore running back emerged as a major factor in Oregon's running game last season, showcasing a power running style akin to a bowling ball at full speed. There's not a whole lot of experienced depth ready to challenge him for carries at this point, so the onus is on Freeman to take one or two leaps over the course of the 2015 season.

3. What's Up With The Secondary?

Redshirt sophomore Chris Seisay looks primed to put in all together in 2015 after some impressive isolated outings last season, but the secondary remains one of the biggest question marks for Oregon going forward? Forced to reload with impact players like Ifo Ekpre-Olomu no longer in Eugene, the Ducks' defensive backs have a spotlight on them heading towards September.
