In the last month, Breanna Stewart has earned a lot of titles: WNBA Commissioner's Cup MVP, Tokyo Olympics gold medalist, FIBA's Olympics MVP.

Now, she can add mother to that list.

The Seattle Storm star and her fiancée, Marta Xargay Casademont, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Ruby, via a surrogate on Aug. 9. They announced the birth today on social media.

"Ruby's arrival has been the best part of 2021 and easily one of the best moments of my life," said Stewart. "Becoming a mom is bigger than anything else that I've done and I look forward to every beautiful and challenging moment as a family of three.
