The United States women’s field hockey team, winners of their Group B opener against Argentina Saturday, will return to the field Monday for their second group match. The Americans take on Australia, which lost its opener, in a match that begins at 9:00 a.m. Eastern. While the Hockeyroos did lose to Great Britain 2-1 in their opener, they entered the Olympic tournament ranked third in the world.
Jodie Kenny will lead the way for Australia while Katie Reinprecht and Michelle Kasold, who scored the two goals in the win over Argentina, are among those who will look to lead the United States to a second consecutive victory.
