Usain Bolt schedules last race in Jamaica

Usain Bolt‘s last race in Jamaica will be at the 2017 Racers Grand Prix, Bolt said on Jamaican TV on Friday.

That could mean Bolt will skip the 2017 Jamaican National Championships, given the Racers Grand Prix came before the Jamaican Championships in June this year.

Bolt could skip the 2017 Jamaican Championships and still be named to its 2017 World Championships team, as defending world champions have received byes into worlds in the past. Bolt skipped the Jamaican Championships in 2015 and then swept 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay titles at the world championships two months later.
