Usain Bolt had an eventful Thursday, being confirmed for his first race of 2017, saying he’s open to racing in 2018 and nearly getting kicked by a horse in Melbourne.

Bolt will race in Australia for the first time in his career in early February, according to Australian reports. Competing at the Nitro Summer Series in Melbourne would mark his earliest start to a season in a decade.

Bolt, who previously said he would retire after the 2017 World Championships, on Thursday did not rule out competing at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia, according to those same reports.
