Twin brothers killed in accident on Calgary bobsled track

Twin teenage brothers were killed when trying to slide down an Olympic bobsled track in Calgary using their own toboggan, according to news reports.

CBC News reported the 17-year-old boys were killed early Saturday when using the track after hours. Six other teens, all male, were treated at local hospitals.

Police said the boys hit a large gate used to separate the bobsled and luge tracks, according to the CBC report.

The brothers were identified as Jordan and Evan Caldwell. Their family released a statement late Saturday night.

“We were reminded today that life is but a vapor.
