All four cities bidding for the 2024 Olympics have advanced to the next phase of the race.
The IOC executive board on Thursday said that Los Angeles, Paris, Rome and Budapest, Hungary, had all done enough to move ahead to the next stage.
The move was widely expected. Under new bidding rules, the IOC has no plans to reduce the field or create a short list of finalists. It expects all four cities to go until the IOC vote in Lima, Peru, in September 2017.
