USA Hockey’s release of its Deutschland Cup roster could also be viewed as the USA’s Olympic tryout roster.
Many of the players on the roster will be named to the U.S. Olympic team that will compete in 2018 Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. This is the first time NHL players aren’t competing at the Games since 1994 in Lillehammer, Norway.
