Ryan Lochte has shown his admiration for Lil Wayne by naming his Doberman Pinscher after the rapper, walking out for races listening to “The Sky is the Limit” and reportedly sleeping with his lyrics posted above his bed when he lived in Florida.
So what Lil Wayne did on “Ellen” on Thursday had to leave another mark on the swimmer who has endured a turbulent month.
Lil Wayne altered lyrics in a performance on the show to include Lochte’s name:
“And if Cash Money try to stop me, I’m a let ’em rob me, yeah right, like Ryan Lochte.
