Ronda Rousey lost again.
The 2008 Olympic bronze medalist fell to UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes, the referee stopping the fight after 48 seconds following a series of punches to her head at UFC 207 in Las Vegas on Friday night.
“This moment is my moment,” Nunes said. “I knew I would beat the s— out of Ronda Rousey. … Now she’s going to retire.”
Rousey (12-2) lost her second straight bout after a shocking upset at the pummeling hands of Holly Holm on Nov. 15, 2015, her first defeat since switching from judo to MMA in 2010.
