Peter Diamond promoted to NBC Olympics Executive Vice President

Peter Diamond, the most tenured executive in U.S. Olympic television history set to work his 17th Olympics in Rio, has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Programming, NBC Olympics.

Diamond, a 15-time Emmy Award winner, was previously Senior Vice President.

“Peter Diamond has been the architect of NBC’s hugely successful Olympic programming schedule for nearly 30 years,” NBC Olympics Executive Producer Jim Bell said. “His unparalleled knowledge of Olympic sports and his relationships within the world sporting community have helped us grow the Games in the U.S. to unprecedented levels of coverage and popularity.
