The NHL made it official that its players will not be allowed to participate in the 2018 Olympics in South Korea.
Commissioner Gary Bettman has said for months that owners weren’t in favor of NHL participation because of a variety of factors, particularly the disruption caused by shutting down the season for two weeks.
