Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira and Savannah Guthrie will host NBC’s coverage of the Rio Olympic Opening Ceremony on Aug. 5.
Lauer will host a fifth straight Opening Ceremony, while Vieira will host her third straight. Guthrie makes her Opening Ceremony coverage debut while also working her third Olympics for TODAY.
Bob Costas will be NBC’s primetime host during the first Olympics in South America.
Ryan Seacrest will host late-night coverage.
