Michael Phelps to anchor the U.S. men’s 4x200 freestyle relay

RIO DE JANEIRO — Michael Phelps will anchor the U.S. men’s 4x200 freestyle relay Tuesday night, his second relay of the week so far.

Phelps will swim the final leg — following Conor Dwyer, Townley Haas and Ryan Lochte (in that order) — approximately an hour after he swims in the men’s 200 butterfly final. He has yet to swim a double at these Olympic Games.

Phelps, the most decorated Olympian ever, had 19 gold medals (and 23 overall) entering Tuesday night’s action.
