Laurie Hernandez notched her third and fourth perfect scores of the “Dancing with the Stars” season on Monday night, advancing to the final five.
Hernandez, a 16-year-old Olympic champion gymnast, and partner Val Chmerkovskiy earned four perfect 10s from judges for their Argentine tango.
Later, Hernandez and Chmerkovskiy teamed with Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko for a dance and again earned a score of 40.
Hernandez and Chmerkovskiy previously earned perfect scores on Oct. 3 and Oct. 31.
For comparison, Olympic ice dance champion Meryl Davis, one of the best contestants in the show’s history, had received one perfect score before the final five.
