Justin Rose fires first hole-in-one in Olympic history (video)

After 112 years without golf, the Olympics needed all of one day to get a hole-in-one.

Great Britain’s Justin Rose rolled in an ace on the 191-yard fourth hole at the Olympic Golf Course in Rio on Day One of the men’s golf tournament.

Rose is three under with a bogey and isn’t halfway done with the course. Marcus Fraser of Australia is the leader in the clubhouse at eight under.

The 36-year-old South Africa born golfer won the 2013 U.S. Open for his only major title.
