Harper-Nelson eliminated from women’s 100m Hurdles in semis

Dawn Harper-Nelson was eliminated in the semifinals of the women’s 100m Hurdles. She missed the final by .01 seconds.

With heavy rains pounding the track and wind in the athletes faces, Harper-Nelson finished third in 13.01 seconds. Castlin finished first in 12.77 seconds, while Stowers placed second in 12.91.

The 32-year-old Harper-Nelson won gold in the category at the Beijing 2008 Games and silver at the London 2012 Games. In the first round of competition at Trials, she ran the ninth-fastest time – 12.85 seconds.
