Four breakaway riders in the lead as Tour heads to Limoges

LIMOGES, France (AP) — Four breakaway riders have built up a five-minute lead over the peloton in the fourth and longest stage of the Tour de France on Tuesday.

Oliver Naesen, Alexis Gougeard, Markel Irizar, and Andreas Schillinger made their move near the 30-kilometer mark and quickly increased the gap. The 237.5-kilometer ride is taking the peloton from Saumur to Limoges in central France.

World champion Peter Sagan is enjoying a second consecutive day in the yellow jersey.

Sagan has an eight-second lead over Julien Alaphilippe overall, with Alejandro Valverde in third place, 10 seconds back.
