Finnish team knits together at Winter Olympics

PYEONGCHANG, South Korea — Make no mistake, Antti Koskinen isn’t bored at the Olympics. But when you see Finland’s snowboarding coach at the starting gate for any competition over the next couple weeks, he might look … preoccupied.

Koskinen isn’t the one competing, but he likes to keep things chill by knitting at the top of each course. He’s been seen needling some black yarn together on top of the slopestyle and halfpipe courses here — without gloves by the way. His poor hands are braving blustering winds and negative temperatures for the sake of a stitch pattern.
