China went 1-2 in the women’s 10m platform final, with Qian Ren posted three dives above 91 in coasting to gold.

It could’ve been even more comfortable, but countrywoman Yajie Si started off red hot, and held the lead through two dives.

Canada’s Meaghan Benfeito took bronze by 12.1 points over Mexico’s Paoloa Espinosa.

Two tough dives cost USA diver Jessica Parratto dearly in her attempt for a podium finish. She ended up 10th despite a field second-best 81.00 on her first dive.
