After winning two silver medals in Rio, gymnast Danell Leyva is looking ahead to life as an actor, and maybe as a superhero. As part of his work with the Milk Life campaign, he spoke with For the Win about his coming home party, winning two medals and whether the next Olympics are in his plans.
What’s it been like, coming home from Rio with two medals?
It’s been incredible. The reception I got in Miami was unreal. It was unbelievable. I definitely didn’t expect it. It was family, friends, fans, media, a whole bunch of people when I got to Miami.
