DES MOINES, Iowa — Christian Coleman has read the stories like everyone else. He’s seen media members speculate about who the fastest American sprinter is.
He's avoided putting much stock into any of it. However, he'll be hearing plenty of buzz about his performance Friday in the 100-meter finals of the USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships at Drake Stadium.
"The media puts out stories that this guy's the guy to beat, this guy's the fastest in the world," Coleman said.
