Children of Olympian Bode Miller, wife Morgan recovering from carbon monoxide poisoning

Olympic skiing champion Bode Miller and his wife Morgan know the pain of losing a child all too well. And earlier this month, they narrowly avoided another heart-wrenching tragedy.

Three of the couple's children were hospitalized two weeks ago with carbon monoxide poisoning, Morgan Miller shared in an Instagram post on Friday, and had to be put on "high flow oxygen for over four hours."

The incident occurred when a broken hot tub was being replaced at the Millers' home. Twin sons Asher and Axel, 3, and daughter Scarlet, 19 months, were standing on their front step when a lack of air flow in the driveway caused them to inhale too much carbon monoxide, the former pro volleyball player explained in the caption to her Instagram video.
