During Team USA’s flight on Saturday, DeMar DeRozan and Jimmy Butler led a fantastic singalong to Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles.” Everybody seemed to be having a great time, well, almost. When the camera focused on Carmelo Anthony, he looked completely miserable.
Following Team USA’s 110-66 win over Nigeria on Monday, Carmelo was asked about the in-flight singalong. He said that he actually likes the song. His issue wasn’t about the song, but instead, he’s simply not a morning person and wanted to sleep on the plane.
