Bruce Springsteen's daughter on short list for U.S. Jumping Team at Summer Olympics

WELLINGTON — Olympic hopeful Jessica Springsteen is among 10 show jumpers selected for the U.S. Jumping Team Olympic Short List.

The 29-year-old daughter of legendary musician Bruce Springsteen and Nations Cup winner, is among several familiar faces who recently completed the Winter Equestrian Festival circuit.

Palm Beach County residents Kent Farrington (Wellington) and Laura Kraut (Royal Palm Beach) joined Springsteen on the short list.

The 10 finalists will be observed by U.S. chef d'equipe Robert Ridland, U.S. Equestrian Federation managing director Lizzy Chesson and other advisors for final selection of four riders (three riders and one alternate) for the Tokyo Olympics, July 23-Aug.
