RIO DE JANEIRO – There was more finger-wagging at the Olympic Aquatics Center on Tuesday night. This time it had nothing to do with doping, but rather the rope-a-dope.

A day after Michael Phelps’ chief rival in his signature event, the 200 butterfly, shadow-boxed in front of him in the ready room during the semifinals, leading to the now-infamous Phelps death stare, Phelps stormed to victory, becoming the oldest individual swimming gold medalist in Olympic history.
