Olympic silver medalist beach volleyball player April Ross wants to follow the path of partner Kerri Walsh Jennings, hoping to have a child between Olympic appearances.
“Before Tokyo [2020 Olympics] I would definitely like to have a kid,” said Ross, 32, according to the Daily Pilot in California. “I hope to have one in the first two years after Rio and come back for Tokyo.”
The three-time Olympic champion Walsh Jennings had two children between Beijing 2008 and London 2012 and another in 2013. Walsh Jennings, 36, told the newspaper she wants to have a fourth child after the Rio Olympics, expected to be her fifth and final Olympics.
