There was little drama but plenty of cause for celebration after the U.S. women's basketball team claimed its sixth consecutive Olympic gold medal on Saturday. The likes of Diana Taurasi, Tamika Catchings and Sue Bird routed Spain 101-72 and then savored the fact that they had each won their fourth Olympic gold medal.

"It’s hard to quantify with words," U.S. coach Geno Auriemma said of the trio’s impact and importance. "There are some things that they do that you just can't describe."
