PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Old Dominion (9-7, 5-2 MAC) wrestling team defeated Drexel (4-10, 1-4 EIWA) on Sunday afternoon, 23-12. Junior Tim Young defeated No. 11 Stephen Loiseau by a 5-4 decision at 197 pounds to highlight the afternoon.
"Overall we wrestled much better today against Drexel with a higher level of energy and focus than we did on Friday at American," said head coach Steve Martin. "We're very proud of everyone's effort but especially Tim Young's win against a top-12 opponent. We're looking forward to rolling this momentum into the MAC Tournament."
