NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s tennis team (3-1) defeated Appalachian State (0-4) by a 7-0 score on Sunday afternoon at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. Five of the six singles matches were straight set victories for ODU. Old Dominion has now won two in a row and is 2-0 at home this season.
All three of ODU’s double tandems won on Sunday, as head coach Dom Manilla paired Holly Hutchinson/Nataliia Vlasova for No. 1 singles (6-1), Ingrid Vojcinakova/Natalya Malenko for No. 2 singles (6-0) and Borislava Botusharova/Marijana Novakovic for No. 3 singles (6-1).
