NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team turned in a 3.52 GPA for the 2017-18 academic year, which ranked first amongst ODU’s 18 athletic teams. The Soccer Monarchs also compiled the highest team GPA for the fall semester with a 3.6.
“I am extremely proud of our team and the commitment they have towards their academic success,” said ODU head coach Angie Hind. “I have no doubt that our academic standards over the past few years have a direct correlation to our improvement on the soccer field, as it is reflective of the type of student-athletes that we have within our program.
