NORFOLK | Louisiana Tech scored on a penalty kick in the fifth minute and held on for a 2-0 win over Old Dominion in a Conference USA women's soccer match-up on Sunday afternoon at the ODU Soccer Complex.
Following a whistle on the Lady Monarchs, the Bulldogs' Annabel Prior converted the PK for a 1-0 lead. Kathryn Sloan added a tally in the 79th on a short touch up the right side into the far left corner.
Krista Moisio finished with four saves for the Lady Monarchs, who were outshot 9-8.
ODU travels west for visits to Rice on Friday and North Texas next Sunday.
