NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion women's soccer coaching staff recently opened their doors to local high school and club coaches. ODU assistant coach, Michelle Barr, presented to the local coaches the training methods and coaching philosophies of the Lady Monarchs’ program.
Barr’s presentation was followed by an on-field session using the current team to highlight some drills that are key to the development of the team. In all, 20 local coaches attended.
"This was a fantastic night,” said ODU head coach Angie Hind. “We had so many local coaches here who are doing great work developing the young players in this area.
