Old Dominion junior Jennie Simms was named C-USA Player of the Week for women’s basketball.
She averaged 25 points in two games, including her first double-double of the season (22 points, 12 rebounds) against Marshall. She leads the league in scoring (19.8) and ranks eighth in assists (4.0).
Charlotte’s Lefty Webster, a Norfolk Christian grad, was runner-up for the weekly award after a double-double) 19 points, 11 rebounds) against Western Kentucky.
