Women's Golf Sits in Fourth After 36 Holes at Briar's Creek Invitational

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. - The Old Dominion women's golf team is in fourth place after two rounds on Monday. The Monarchs were led by senior Sana Tufail, who posted back-to-back under par rounds.

The Monarchs posted an opening round 288 (E) and in the afternoon a 292 (+4). The Monarchs are ahead of five top-50 teams after day one of competition and just nine strokes out of the lead.

Individually, Tufail went three-under on Monday, which included a 71 and 70, respectively. Freshman Leah Onosato recorded six birides in her second round to finish even through 36 holes.
