Women's Golf Jumps Five Spots to Take Fourth at Lady Paladin Invitational

GREENVILLE, S.C. - A final round 285 (-3) from the Old Dominion women's golf team propelled the Monarchs to a fourth place finish at the Lady Paladin Invitational hosted by Furman. ODU posted the second-best team score in the field on Sunday afternoon.

"We knew starting the year at Furman would be tough. It's a notoriously difficult golf course," said head coach Mallory Hetzel. "We were so close the first two rounds to shooting some good scores. The team dug deep today and played one of the best rounds in program history. We showed a lot of heart and it's a great way to get ready for the Princess Anne Invitational.
