NORFOLK, Va. -- Head coach Mallory Hetzel and the Old Dominion women's golf program announced the addition of Jana Melichova for the upcoming 2018-19 season on Thursday.
Melichova, a Czech Republic native, is currently ranked third in the amateur rankings for her home nation. A member of the Czech Republic National Team, Melichova is also ranked 68th in the European amateur rankings and 180th in the world.
"Jana has a wealth of national and international tournament experience," said Hetzel. "She has proven to be one of the best players in the world and we are thrilled she has chosen ODU.
