Charlotte’s Harrison Steadman scored both goals, and the 49ers stayed unbeaten with a 2-0 win over Old Dominion on Saturday night.
Steadman, who came on as a subsitute in the 30th minute, opened the scoring by knocking a rebound in the 41st minute. Charlotte held the 1-0 lead until the 88th minute, when Steadman scored off an assist from Elliot Panicco.
Charlotte outshot Old Dominion 13-8.
Old Dominion (3-2-1) will begin a three-game road trip with a visit to Virginia Commonwealth on Tuesday.
