NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University Swimming Head Coach Carol Withus has hired Bill Williams as the Diving Head Coach and Rodney Fentress as assistant swimming coach, Withus announced on Thursday.
Williams was previously the head diving coach at St. Bonaventure University in New York for four years. At St. Bonaventure, Williams coached a two-time NCAA Zone Qualifier who also earned Atlantic-10 Most Outstanding Diver honors. All four years he had at least one diver make it to the finals of the A-10 Championships.
Prior to his tenure at St. Bonaventure, Williams was the head diving coach at Northern Michigan for one year.
