NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion (13-3, 3-1 C-USA) women's basketball team snapped its 11-game losing streak to the Lady Toppers (10-6, 2-3 C-USA) with a 76-65 win on Thursday night. Sophomore Ajah Wayne led the way with a double-double, notching 23 points and 10 rebounds.
"Good win tonight against a very talented team that has dominated this league. To get a win like this on our home court it just moves us a step closer to what we're trying to do," explained head coach Nikki McCray. "Since I've been here we haven't been able to beat them.
